This was a painting that was donated to the 2008 American Cancer Society's Discovery Ball held at the Lyric Opera House in Chicago. As a cancer survivor myself I am passionate about helping others who fight this awful disease. It was an honor to donate a piece of work for such a worthy cause and to remind people that hope is never truly alone, there are others supporting you along the way.
