The desert is surprisingly filled with bright colors. When I first moved to the Sonoran Desert I feared all the neutral coloring of sand, dust, dirt, and cacti. However, if you look close enough there are so many other colors to be seen. Pinks, purples, oranges, reds. This particular plant had the largest blood red thorns and the when the sun hit them, they glowed!
